Hello, I’m Irene Armendariz, candidate for U.S. Congress District 16 in El Paso, Texas. A wife to a Border Patrol Agent and Veteran, a mother to 3 beautiful daughters, a grandmother to 4 precious grandchildren, a small business owner, and a first-generation American to Mexican immigrants; naturalized citizens, and a firm believer in the American dream.
It is time for the voiceless to be heard. It is time for Truth and Justice to prevail.
It is time for our beautiful city, El Paso, Texas, full of culture and possibilities to thrive. The culture of death and immorality that exists in our society today is unacceptable. It is time for the voiceless to be heard. It is time for Truth and Justice to prevail.
Edmund Burke stated… “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
I will not stand by and let evil prevail.
As the wife of a Navy veteran, I am concerned that we keep our promises to our veterans and restore honor and end vilification of innocent officers in law enforcement. I fully support high quality mental health care and benefits for veterans and their families, and funding law enforcement agencies/departments to have adequate resources and manpower.
